Finding YOUR path to holistic well-being is going to be as individual and unique as you are. Do you consider all the ways in which you can move towards vitality and balance in mind, body and spirit? Creativity is soul food for me! It comes in many forms and from different avenues but I become more whole as I immerse myself in whatever is presented.

I am asked this question often. While I can answer you with the basic benefits of the different modalities that I offer, I can't say how you, as an individual, will benefit. You are unique!
You will see the term “holistic approach” all over my website, social media and blogs. It is the approach I take to all of the sessions I offer and how they may impact you on the day that you’re receiving them.
Autumn brings darker, colder days...the perfect opportunity to take an empowering journey inwards!
Continuously wandering from one thing to the next seeking peace and inner connection, knowing that there is more 'out there' that may give you a clue as to your purpose... it's exhausting! What if the journey to inner peace and connection was not only inspiring and creative but empowering as well. A journey inwards to discover your Sacred self. It doesn't have to be 'work', it can be peaceful and loving. Offered in 3 one week blocks you will have a full year of access to this beautiful, experiential online workshop series, allowing you to take steps and changes at your own pace, plus revisit ideas and suggestions if you get stuck. During a Yin Yoga session poses are held for a longer period of time in order to benefit, stretch and open the deeper muscles and fascia. Fascia alone needs a minimum of 90 to 120 seconds to begin to release during a stretch. Taking time to allow the fascia to stretch is essential to maintaining flexibility, range of motion and overall holistic well-being.
When a belief, relationship, physical item, etc. are held on to, part of your energy is held in the past, when you were first given the item, the relationship started or the belief was taught. If the associated memories are positive then you feel good when thinking about the past, and that energy of feeling good brings positive thoughts into your now. Where your energy belongs.
What does it mean to harvest holistic health? The awareness of connection of how you function as a whole being is often brought to light during a Massage. Clients will often notice that releasing muscle tension in one area has an impact on other muscles. It's always rewarding when they realize that they are not just a collection of parts. Stress in it's chronic or acute stages can be debilitating to mind, body and spirit. The changes it creates in the body can lead to emotional responses of depression and anxiety.
Chronic pain, limited range of movement and flexibility, pain from old injuries or surgical sites, tension held in the body as anxiety, ptsd and depression from recent and/or long ago traumatic events... all of these point to an unfitness in your Fascia. Holistic therapies can help!
OK, so you’ve done the work, peeled back layers of your life, like an onion, to discover at least one thing that is no longer working for you. That something is up for change as you create holistic balance in your life. You’ve explored the ways that work for you and hopefully found 2 or 3 that work and you’re in the process of integrating those changes. Now what? |
