What should I wear to my session?
It’s important that you are comfortable for any session you have so that you can fully relax. Try to stay away from tight, restrictive clothing and waistbands, be sure to bring an extra sweater or jacket for after your session in case you cool down. For Massage sessions you may find that there is residual lotion or oil left on your skin so be sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting oil on. Do I fully undress for a session? For Reflexology, Reiki, Marma Point Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy you remain fully clothed. For Massage and some Ayurvedic sessions you undress to your comfort level (maximum to your underpants). There are sheets and blankets on the massage table to cover with. During your session only the part of your body that is being treated will be uncovered. For example: If your left leg is receiving massage then only your left leg will be uncovered, otherwise the covers remain on and around you. Can I talk during a session? This is your session and it is up to you. Some clients prefer to close their eyes and relax completely during a session and refrain from any discussion, while others prefer to talk as the session takes place. I will follow your lead. I do ask though, that if at any time you are uncomfortable during your session you let me know. How often should I book my sessions? What are your goals? This will be an important discussion that we'll have at your first session. When working on something specific it is suggested that sessions are close together. This way we can be more sure of affecting a change and moving forward in your well-being. After that, maintenance varies as does each person. Let's talk about it.
