I am asked this question often. While I can answer you with the basic benefits of the different modalities that I offer, I can't say how you, as an individual, will benefit. You are unique!

What are the benefits of Reflexology during the hotter and drier summer months? There are many, but let's focus on the main ones.
Allow the muscles in your hands to relax and let go with a soothing massage to hands and lower arms. You'll be amazed at how much tension you've been holding as you text, type, stir, hammer, golf, ...
There are a few policies and guidelines I follow that I am at times, asked to ignore or break, usually by new clients. My impression is that many don't know what they are actually asking me to do, so I thought I would share the whats and whys.

We had the most interesting experience yesterday, a client and I. During a Craniosacral Therapy session my client displayed, in real time, a response from the Vagus Nerve. It was pretty amazing to be a part of! Can you imagine being without your phone? In todays society it is so attached to us that it is like having an extra limb, or a security blanket perhaps? On my recent trip overseas to spend much needed time with family, I turned my phone off, and it stayed that way for 4 full weeks. The first few days were tough! As a business owner, outside of the treatment room (when I'm with clients the phone is set to 'Do Not Disturb') my phone is regularly attached to my hand. But being in an overseas country where I didn't know anyone outside of my family, there was no use for it. We spent the majority of our time in and around my son's home. When we ventured out we were together, so again, no use for it. I could have purchased a phone card but who was I going to call? There have been a lot of bookings for Indian Head Massage with Oil in recent weeks. Clients are feeling the dryness of Summer inside and out while their bodies and minds are subconsciously preparing for Autumn. Plus they slide off the Massage table in a state of complete relaxation and total bliss! Ayurveda is a "science of life" , a powerful mind-body system of health
developed thousands of years ago in India. OK, so you’ve done the work, peeled back layers of your life, like an onion, to discover at least one thing that is no longer working for you. That something is up for change as you create holistic balance in your life. You’ve explored the ways that work for you and hopefully found 2 or 3 that work and you’re in the process of integrating those changes. Now what? After 25 years I've discovered there is an area of my practice where I haven't communicated with clients clearly enough and lately it has caused some confusion. The thing about being in practice for so long is I think I assume some things that I shouldn't and it takes a few miscommunications for me to realize...ahhh, it's really clear...but only in my head...lol |
