There have been some changes and updates made to the Jane Booking App and this Website, that current and future clients may wish to make themselves aware of. While these two are updated throughout the year, at least once a year I will review everything and implement some of what is new from the creators of Jane App that I think are of benefit to clients and myself. Same with the website. Your Appointments and Client Information on Jane The length of time between client appointments has been changed from 30 minutes to 20 minutes. You will notice your appointment times shifting to these intervals soon. Jane is increasing what clients have access to in their accounts. So far this includes the ability to open, view and download any receipts that you may be missing (I email them after each appointment). Client will also be able to set their time zone within their account so that their appointments show the time for the province that they are in. Currently Jane is set to Mountain Time, but you can make the change up in your account. This will benefit Chilliwack clients the most. If you are a no show or late cancelation for an appointment, or if your payment is not received by end of the day of your appointment, Jane automatically shifts your account to "payment required prior to booking" or "contact to book". I can change this back to regular booking but you will have to contact me as I don't always catch the change. If Jane doesn't let you cancel your appointment it is because you are within the 24 hour cancelation window. (See Cancelation Policy) The app shifts you to contact to cancel mainly so that I can let you know that your credit card will be charged for the appointment. In some North American jurisdictions laws are changing around Text Messaging Appointment Reminders. You will need to opt in and agree to receive text messages from businesses, including appointment reminders. You can opt in on your Jane account. I have gone through the Jane App and archived client files for those who have not booked in for a year or more. But you can reactivate your file when you sign in and re-book through your Jane account. These files are archived only and not deleted. My professional association requires that I keep all client files for 10 years. You may be prompted to complete an updated Health Intake, again a requirement from my professional association. Mainly for clarity of wording. When you book an appointment with me you are agreeing to my Clinic Policies. Policies are created to ensure a safe and respectful space for everyone. You may notice them when you visit the site or they may be behind the scenes updates to ensure that your visit to the site is smooth and easy to navigate.
