Stress in it's chronic or acute stages can be debilitating to mind, body and spirit. The changes it creates in the body can lead to emotional responses of depression and anxiety. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) encourages the Nervous System to calm and the body and mind to rest, reset and reconnect to our innate normal state of wellness. Teresa has provided Craniosacral Therapy sessions for me on many occasions, addressing both mind and body issues I have brought to the table. Most recently, I was struggling with an Acute Stress Disorder in reaction to a
traumatic event, while also suffering painful, stiff neck and shoulders as a result of tension. Teresa was extremely thorough and caring, taking the time to make sure we addressed each area, and the results were incredible. Not only did my neck and shoulders release, but I experienced pain and tension relief throughout the body, especially the back, neck, and facial areas. I was also able to process the trauma through the Craniosacral Therapy session, and have benefited from the reduction of stress that this session brought forth. ~ Monique
