![]() Emotions are a natural and human way of expression. And you are human before you put on any of the other roles you have in this life. Emotions are also an energy that you can suppress or release. Energy naturally needs to move, it is something meant to be in constant motion, especially if it's to be released. When you grip tightly to suppress emotions, or the movement of that emotional energy within your being, the result is a sense/feeling/expression of unease (or dis-ease)

![]() Healing Can Happen Through Relaxation The comment I hear most often from clients, at the end of a Craniosacral Therapy session or Reiki session, is that they have never before felt so deeply and completely relaxed. There is something in the quiet of those two Holistic therapies that nurtures you, mind, body and soul. ![]() A woman’s life is naturally cyclical, from birth to death. Hormonal changes throughout your lifetime create an arc of growth, maturity and an eventual end, all of which impact your body, mind and spirit. At different stages of that growth different aspects of the whole woman come to the forefront. Early life is mostly focused on physical growth and as you flow into your later years, the spiritual side can begin to take precedence. Energy shifts constantly flow through all of your years of life. Each stage and each cycle creates the unique and empowered woman that you are today. Mindfulness
This theme for the March enewsletter brought many inspiring thoughts! The days are a little brighter and a little longer and as the first day of Spring is within sight, your mind and spirit may feel just a little lighter.
This year (2024) that day happens on March 19th. 2024 marks 30 years since I began teaching Reiki. I had been in the practice for a few years prior to completing my Reiki Master/Teacher training in late 1993. It has been an amazing journey from two perspectives.

You will see the term “holistic approach” all over my website, social media and blogs. It is the approach I take to all of the sessions I offer and how they may impact you on the day that you’re receiving them.
![]() Taking time to assess what you need to let go of is not, I don’t think, as difficult as the steps to actually letting go. Life can become mired in old ways of doing things or holding onto items because you’ve had them for years, in other words, stagnation. Through following old beliefs or staying in relationships that no longer serve you, the journey forward becomes stuck. To recognize and assess what you need to let go of is a journey in itself. To take the steps to actually let go can be scary. I had a lesson taught to me recently that encouraged me to practice what I teach. The experience showed me my own vulnerability and honestly, it wasn’t comfortable. Some months ago I received a Message Request on a business Facebook page, from a person who was seeking another Teresa regarding an upcoming High School reunion. I didn’t know the person messaging me and responded that the Teresa they were searching for wasn’t me. Apparently they didn't receive that message.
