You will see the term “holistic approach” all over my website, social media and blogs. It is the approach I take to all of the sessions I offer and how they may impact you on the day that you’re receiving them.

Yes, therapists get injured as well and we often go through the same steps that we ask clients to take. Here is the step by step of how I am healing 3 sprained ankle ligaments, and would suggest to clients as a plan, for between visits.
Autumn brings darker, colder days...the perfect opportunity to take an empowering journey inwards!
Continuously wandering from one thing to the next seeking peace and inner connection, knowing that there is more 'out there' that may give you a clue as to your purpose... it's exhausting! What if the journey to inner peace and connection was not only inspiring and creative but empowering as well. A journey inwards to discover your Sacred self. It doesn't have to be 'work', it can be peaceful and loving. Offered in 3 one week blocks you will have a full year of access to this beautiful, experiential online workshop series, allowing you to take steps and changes at your own pace, plus revisit ideas and suggestions if you get stuck. During a Yin Yoga session poses are held for a longer period of time in order to benefit, stretch and open the deeper muscles and fascia. Fascia alone needs a minimum of 90 to 120 seconds to begin to release during a stretch. Taking time to allow the fascia to stretch is essential to maintaining flexibility, range of motion and overall holistic well-being.
Just a few months ago the Massage Therapist that I see asked me when I would begin following the advice that I give to clients. Whomp!

Not easy to come to grips with, but while I do practice self-care, I need to develop a deeper understanding of my limitations. What are the benefits of Reflexology during the hotter and drier summer months? There are many, but let's focus on the main ones.
When a belief, relationship, physical item, etc. are held on to, part of your energy is held in the past, when you were first given the item, the relationship started or the belief was taught. If the associated memories are positive then you feel good when thinking about the past, and that energy of feeling good brings positive thoughts into your now. Where your energy belongs.
Allow the muscles in your hands to relax and let go with a soothing massage to hands and lower arms. You'll be amazed at how much tension you've been holding as you text, type, stir, hammer, golf, ...
Taking time to assess what you need to let go of is not, I don’t think, as difficult as the steps to actually letting go. Life can become mired in old ways of doing things or holding onto items because you’ve had them for years, in other words, stagnation. Through following old beliefs or staying in relationships that no longer serve you, the journey forward becomes stuck. To recognize and assess what you need to let go of is a journey in itself. To take the steps to actually let go can be scary. |
