The weather is warmer and naturally our thoughts are turning to those outdoor activities that we're passionate about (or have to do...like cutting the lawn). But, is your body ready? What about your frame of mind?
Most outdoor activities take us out of our normal muscle use, that is, our muscles haven't been firing in quite the same way since winter drove us indoors. A lot of activities use different muscle groups and it's important to be ready for that, as with any new form of excercise. Hydrations, stretching, good body mechanics and muscle maintenance... are just some of the things to consider in caring for our body.
